January Spotlight: New Year, New You

BestOfBritish

Our British brand of the month is Ness. An independent brand and lifestyle label, they originate from Scotland, with its flagship store on the Royal Mile. We love them for their fun and inclusive use of tartan in everyday accessories and clothes.

I Promise to Organise Myself

With so much to choose from and so many resolutions at hand, it was hard to choose one star product for January from Roman at Home. The hardest resolution, for many of us at Roman, was to be tidier and more organized for 2012, at home and in the office! The best product for me is the Set of 3 Seagrass, Cotton Lined, Baskets. Currently £13.60 in the January Sale, usually £19.50 so it’d be silly not to get a few sets to orgnaise the bedrooms and bathroom.

Wicker Set of Baskets

Most popular resolution from 2011 was to loose weight… wonder if it’ll be same this year.

Have a lovely night in, and snuggle up on the sofa with the family to watch Cars 2, out on Blu Ray & DVD now. Another favorite of the office as well as a great giggle for 90mins.

Tip of the Month

A tip for our keen 1st time homeowners who are taking on decorating for the 1st time in the New Year. When painting a great tip for doing a lot of ‘gloss’ work and edging is to wear a pair of washing up gloves with the cuffs turned up to catch any run off and dribbles… saving them for running down your arms instead!

We Love these!

These caught our eye this week on Dune’s website. Be a bit bolder in 2012 and dress up a boring black work suit with these leopard print court shoe.
